Personal Journey
Deborah Kadagian is an integrative psychotherapist and Ayurvedic practitioner, dedicated to guiding individuals through deep healing and transformation. With over two decades of experience in holistic practices, her work bridges Western psychotherapy with ancient wisdom traditions.
Deborah’s professional path began with the study and practice of Ayurveda and yoga, where she learned to see the human being as an integrated whole—body, mind, and spirit. She later trained as a licensed psychotherapist, specializing in psychedelic integration therapy, grief, trauma, and transformative states of consciousness. Her unique approach weaves together psychology, contemplative practice, and creative expression.
As both a therapist and an artist, Deborah brings a sensitivity to the healing power of creativity. Her paintings, rooted in the language of color and form, explore transformation, grief, and renewal, offering another dimension to her work with clients.
Deborah has trained in India and Peru and has participated in healing retreats across South Africa, Costa Rica, and Mexico, deepening her connection to indigenous wisdom traditions and plant medicines. She is the author of The Alchemy of Grief: Conversations in Paint and producer of the film Healing the Mind: the synthesis of Western Psychiatry and Ayurveda (available on Gaia).
